Prerequisite: Entry into the honours program in economic history or a combined honours program including economic history, a postgraduate diploma or a masters program in the Faculty.
Contact: Three hours a week of seminars for one semester.
Timetable: Second semester
Objectives:
To achieve an understanding of the advanced fields in economic history, including their historiography, methodologies and current debates.
Content:
Special topics will be offered from time to time to allow members of staff and visitors to teach a subject linked to their current research interests.
Assessment:
Written work not exceeding 4,000 words (40%0 and a 3-hour examination at the end of the semester (60%).
