Contact: A 1-hour tutorial per fortnight and 9 hours reading per week.
Objectives:
Students completing this subject should be able to:
- undertake independent research in areas of interest to them and consistent with the aims of the subject
- present the findings of their research in a scholarly manner.
Content:
Focused, independent reading under the supervision of a member of the teaching staff of the Department.
Assessment:
Up to 5,000 words of written work at 3rd year level and 6,000 words at 4th year level.
