Objectives:
Students who complete this subject should be able to:
- have a beginning understanding of the processes and methods of social research;
- relate this understanding to the specific interests and requirements of the social work profession;
- demonstrate this knowledge by completing a critical review of designated research literature and development of a research proposal.
Content:
Research approaches and skills required to study social work practice problems.
Assessment:
Written work of up to 5,000 words.
