Prerequisite: Entry to fourth-year Honours in the Faculty of Arts; availability of a suitable subject and supervisor in philosophy; approval by both departments.

One of the existing approved fourth-year subjects offered by the Philosophy Department, together with further supervised reading in the same area.
Assessment:
Written work to a maximum of 6,000 words. An examination may substitute for part of this requirement.
