Objectives:
By the end of the subject students should have
- acquired the ability to research Chinese texts;
- gained familiarity with academic writing in a particular field;
- acquired the ability to write an academic paper on a topic introduced in one of the subjects taken at 2nd/3rd year level (Chinese Linguistics or Chinese Literature), using Chinese texts.
Content:
A research project set by the supervisor on a topic covered in the pass major, using Chinese texts.
Assessment:
Written work not exceeding 6,000 words.
