Objectives:
Students who complete this subject should have reached approximately the same level as Chinese 3B. They should be able to speak and read about such topics as Chinese economy, society, education and philosophy in Chinese.
Content:
Advanced spoken and written Chinese.
Assessment:
One aural/oral examination (30 minutes); one written exam (3 hours); homework to a maximum of 1,800 words. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination.
