Prerequisite: Any two level-one Arts subjects or permission of the Head of Department. No knowledge of the Modern Greek language is presupposed.

Contact: Up to three hours per week.

Objectives:

Students on completion of the subject should be able to analyse, interpret and discuss the work of a range of Greek-Australian writers in an informed and critical manner.

Content:

Study of selected Greek-Australian literature.

Assessment:

3,000 words of written work (50 per cent) and a 2-hour examination (50 per cent).
