Timetable: Second semester

Objectives:

Students will gain a familiarity with the ability to analyse the major developments in historiography of human sciences and to acquire appropriate analytical skills for investigating past and contemporary controversies in this field.

Content:

Issues in the history of the human sciences from the late 19th century to the present, concentrating on psychology, anthropology and sociology.

Assessment:

Written work not exceeding 5,000 words.
