131-457 Chivalry and Courtly Love, Part A

Objectives:

By the end of this subject, students will be able to: understand the related themes of chivalry and courtly love from an interdepartmental point of view by focusing on a variety of textual, aural and iconographic material.

Content:

A study of texts, visual and aural material in their social and cultural context, with an inter-departmental approach.

Assessment:

Written work amounting to not more than 6,000 words.
