Prerequisite: Beginners Swedish Third Year A (126-321).
Contact: Five classes a week, including an hour in the language laboratory.
Timetable: Second semester
Objectives:
At the conclusion of the subject the students should:
- be able to communicate in spoken and written Swedish within the compass of a minimum vocabulary of 2,000 words;
- have an appropriate command of the Swedish language within interpersonal and informational domains;
- have a basic understanding of formal and colloquial registers of Swedish within a contextual setting;
- have achieved the level of language competency required for admittance into Intermediate Swedish Third Year A (126-323).
Content:
A continuation of the work done in 126-321.
Assessment:
Written work and language tests of not more than 5,000 words.
