Objectives:
At the conclusion of the subject the students should have:
- a basic understanding of the Swedish language;
- developed skills in the integrated use of Swedish in spoken and written form;
- developed a thorough knowledge of the principal grammatical structures of the Swedish language;
- achieved the level of language competency required for admittance into Beginners Swedish Third Year B (126-322).
Content:
An introduction to the Swedish language with emphasis on oral and reading skills.
Assessment:
Written work and language tests of not more than 5,000 words.
