More advanced study of the Italian language, with increased emphasis on oral, aural, reading and writing skills. Continued study of simple literary texts.

Continuous assessment: language assignments, tests and attendance (20 per cent); literature essay (10 per cent); oral test (reading and conversation) (20 per cent); final examination (three hours) (50 per cent).
