Netherlandish painting, sculpture and book illumination; artistic patronage at the Burgundian courts; the graphic arts; new developments in portraiture and secular art in the context of civic life.

Written work which may comprise class papers, essays, visual tests or take-home examinations totalling about 5,000 words.
