The subject will examine issues of regional identity, national mythology, gender and ethnicity as they appear within the visual arts, architecture, graphic design, industrial design and the mass media in Australia in the 1950s.

Assessment:

Written work which may comprise class papers, essays or take-home examinations totalling 5,000 words.
