702-453 Case Studies in Building B

Credit points: 25.0

Contact: Individual research supervision and supervised research in groups throughout one semester.

Timetable: Second semester

Objectives:

On the completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate that they understand the methods of case study research and can apply them to a selected topic in detail.

Content:

Students will undertake their own investigation into the building process, in which they will identify, observe, analyse, and report on a specific attribute or function of a technical or managerial nature.

Assessment:

Reports, oral and written, on the case studies with a detailed report at the conclusion of the project to the equivalent of 15,000 words.
