702-451 Introductory Research Project

Credit points: 25.0

Coordinator: Dr Russell Kenley.

Contact: Individual research supervision and supervised research in groups throughout a year.

Objectives:

On the completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate that they have gained an understanding of research techniques through the investigation of a particular aspect of a wide range of building topics.

Content:

Guided research in nominated areas selected to give the student experience in research techniques.

Assessment:

Regular reports as required by the supervisor and a minor thesis (to the equivalent of 15,000 words).
