Objectives:
On completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate that they have developed a deeper understanding and a degree of fluency in techniques introduced in Communications 1A adequate to undertake the graphic and documentation assignments required in Architectural Design and Practice 2A and Building Technology 2A.
Content:
Students will undertake a series of assignments (including studio-based exercises) concurrent with communication-based assignments in Architectural Design and Practice 1 and Building Technology 1B to develop communication skills with an emphasis on spatial conceptualisation and three-dimensional representation.
Assessment:
Assessment will be based on a review of a portfolio of all assignments set during the semester. Assignments may relate to work being undertaken in other subjects. (Projects, studio tests, exercises, and tutorial presentations to the equivalent of 7,500 words. )
