<OBJECTIVES>On completion of this subject students should be able to:
<ul>
<li>understand a number of theories of personality, motivation and behaviour, leadership and group process;
<li>describe their own interpersonal skills and develop new skills where appropriate; and
<li>relate theories and their own interpersonal skills to roles and relationships in post-primary and TAFE organisations.
</ul>
<CONTENT>Theories of personality, motivation and behaviour; educational leadership; strategies for effective group leadership; career management and planning; a study of self and others in interpersonal relationships.
<ASSESSMENT>A journal of 1,500 words (30 per cent); an assignment of 3,000 words (70 per cent).
