To be advised. Entry into the honours program in economic history or a combined honours program including economic history, a postgraduate diploma or a masters program in the Faculty. Second semester Three hours a week of seminars for one semester. To achieve an understanding of the advanced fields in economic history, including their historiography, methodologies and current debates. Special topics will be offered from time to time to allow members of staff and visitors to teach a subject linked to their current research interests. Written work not exceeding 4,000 words (40%0 and a 3-hour examination at the end of the semester (60%).
