<CONTENT>This subject continues to emphasize performance in the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing but on a more advanced level than Spanish IIB 1. It contains elements relating to practical language acquisition and the study of Spanish and Latin American culture through film and text.
<ASSESSMENT>End of semester 2 hours written test: 25%; written exercises: 35%; one 1500 word essay: 10%; oral/aural practical work: 30% (= Aural comprehension &amp; transcription exercises: 10%; reading performance &amp; comprehension: 10%; oral production &amp; pronunciation exercises; 10%)
