<OBJECTIVES>

<li>To develop skills in beginning Social Work practice;
<li>To develop understanding of a community-based service organisation, with specific understanding of its philosophy and policies, its administrative and organisational arrangements, its service users and staff, and the roles and tasks of social workers and other staff members.
</ul>
<CONTENT>Supervised experience in Practice Laboratory and Field Practicum.
<ASSESSMENT>Preparation of a video demonstrating each student's interviewing skills as a social worker, together with self-evaluation of skills. A written report of the Field Practicum.
