<li>describe particular sections of the system in appropriate linguistic terms;
<li>relate the Russian system to other languages that they have studied.

<CONTENT>Russian phonology and morphology. Theory and practice.
<ASSESSMENT>Regular assignments totalling up to 3,000 words; two 1-hour tests.
