<OBJECTIVES>Students on completion of the subject should be able to talk and write about a wide range of topics relevant to Modern Greek culture and society in an informed and coherent manner in Greek, and be able to interpret short authentic texts.
<CONTENT>Text-based discussion of selected aspects of Greek society and culture.
<ASSESSMENT>Regular exercises and class tests (50 per cent) and a 2-hour examination (50 per cent).
