<OBJECTIVES>On completion of the subject students will:
<ul>
<li>have consolidated the skills developed in Advanced Level 2A;
<li>be able to read Indonesian texts of different styles and registers (from bureaucratic, academic, newspaper, and literary variants to substandard slang).
</ul>
<CONTENT>A study of Indonesian socio-historical, political and literary texts. The subject is conducted in Indonesian and is intended to develop students' skills in debating and interpreting.
<ASSESSMENT>Written assignments totalling 4,000 words, plus one 2-hour written examination.
