<OBJECTIVES>Students on completion of the subject should have acquired an understanding of the different forms of Greek cult, a knowledge of the fundamental involvement of Greek religion in Greek society and culture, and an overview of the important modern scholars of Greek religion.
<CONTENT>The physical evidence for Greek Religion and methods of interpretation.
<ASSESSMENT>3,000 words of written work (50 per cent) and a 2-hour examination (50 per cent).
