Second semester Three hours per week By the end of the subject students will have acquired a further knowledge of classical Chinese literature, early modern Chinese literature and classical or modern Chinese poetry through reading of original texts. Further academic study of Chinese literature at honours level. One 3-hour examination; not more than 3,000 words in written work. Students will be required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examinations.
