<OBJECTIVES>Students who complete this subject should have reached approximately the same level as Chinese 3A. They should be able to speak and read in Chinese about such topics as Chinese geography, history and politics.
<CONTENT>Advanced spoken and written Chinese.
<ASSESSMENT>One aural/oral examination (30 minutes); assignments and short written tests (maximum 2,500 words); homework to a maximum of 2,500 words. Students are required to attend a minimum of 70% of all classes in order to be eligible to take the examination.
