<OBJECTIVES>Students on completion of the subject should have acquired an advanced understanding of archaeological critical analysis for the study of ancient cultures.
<CONTENT>The content of the subject, which could be taught in given years by different staff with a varying focus, will be structured around the archaeology of the Mediterranean. Initially, the content will focus on the Bronze Age of the eastern Mediterranean.
<ASSESSMENT>Written work, tests and examinations totalling no more than 6,000 words.
