<OBJECTIVES>Students on completion of the subject should have read a number of Ancient Greek texts in the original and consolidated their knowledge of grammar and syntax.
<CONTENT>Reading literary texts; further work on grammar and syntax; translation exercises, Ancient Greek literary criticism.
<ASSESSMENT>Regular exercises and class tests (50 per cent) and a 2-hour examination (50 per cent).
