On the completion of this subject students should be able to demonstrate that they understand the methods of case study research and can apply them to a selected topic in detail. Students will undertake their own investigation into the building process, in which they will identify, observe, analyse, and report on a specific attribute or function of a technical or managerial nature. Reports, oral and written, on the case studies with a detailed report at the conclusion of the project to the equivalent of 7,500 words.
