Regulation 7.6 - Clinical Research Fund

Recitals-

  1. Some medical graduates of the University in 1914 wishing to increase facilities for clinical research and to commemorate the jubilee of the Medical school of the University subscribed a sum to be held by the University in trust, the income to be applied for the purposes of clinical research.
  2. The University received £1,360 at the time of the donation, which sum increased to $3,994 at 31 December 1994.

It is provided as follows-

  1. The sum of $3,994 and any accumulations and additions to the sum forms a fund called the “Clinical Research Fund” (“the fund”), and the fund must be invested as the Council from time to time directs.
  2. The annual income of the fund is available for the promotion of clinical research and may be applied by the Council in such manner as the medical research committee from time to time advises:

Provided that the money available from this fund may be added to any other moneys available for a similar purpose and the whole dealt with as a joint fund.
