Where the award has a specialisation listed as a footnote, that specialisation is included on the testamur. Shown after the degree, diploma or certificate is the Regulation number. These Regulations are in Chapter 3 of the Regulations of Council, Volume 2.

1A. Nomenclature for Awards and Recognition

The following terminology must be used in connection with the conferring or granting of awards and recognition of the University:

The correct terminology for degrees is:

Associate Degree of xxx

Doctor of xxx

Exceptions to this rule: Executive Master of Public Administration, Juris Doctor

Diplomas and Certificates

The correct terminology for diplomas and certificates is:

Bachelor honours degrees

Bachelor honours degrees for which an additional year of study is required are designated:
